The vast majority of our sofas are padded using environmentally friendly open cell polyurethane foam, with a density of 30, 35 and 50 kg per m².

These types of polyurethane do not contain CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons); they are known as “next generation” due to their High Resilience (HR) base. The open cell structure means that the foam exchanges a greater quantity of air more quickly when it is compressed (when the sofa is sat on), thereby improving the elastic yield.

The HR base cuts residual deformation drastically, significantly prolonging the life of the sofa and boosting levels of comfort.
